How Can We Help?
JMicron HW RAID Manager is showing no disks or RAID
Please check the below steps to troubleshoot this issue:
- Please make sure you High-Rely media is powered on and seated properly in its housing
- The BNAS 400/450 has 3 available drive bays, but only the bottom left and bottom right drive are used for mirroring. Please make sure your High-rely media are seated in these 2 bays.
- Because JMicron is run as a service, clicking the X in the upper right corner of the program interface will not close out the program, but will simply minimize it to the taskbar. Please expand the hidden icons on the taskbar and make sure there are not multiple instances of JMicron currently running. If there are, please right click on the extra instances and select Quit. Once all extra instances are closed, you may right click on the remaining instance and select Open Window to open the interface.
- If no disks or RAID are still showing, reboot the BNAS and remember that JMicron will start automatically.
If you are unable to see the disks or RAID after trying these steps, please contact technical support for further assistance.
